17 Day Trip in 2011
We almost always run a 17 and/or 18 day trip or two each year, since we’re known and sought out for long trips. With the recession having cut in to folks’ disposable (vacation!) income, we dropped the long, long trips from 2010 and 2011’s schedules. Over the last few weeks though, we’ve had some inquiries about the possibility of a 17 day trip for 2011. We’d love to run one – probably lengthening one of the last two trips in September. If you might be interested in a trip then, or at another time, let us know!

Note on Clothing Availability
We’ve run a tiny retail catalog operation for years to provide gear for trip participants who’ve found it hard to find some of the more specialized items. But stocking clothing has always been a bit problematic for us because of keeping every size on hand. We’ve never been able to provide more than 1 style and 1 color of each item. With the huge expansion of internet shopping these days it’s easier for people to purchase clothing on their own, so we’re phasing out some of our clothing items – microfleece and long underwear.
This year, if you’d like to purchase microfleece pants or long underwear from us, please let us know and we'll be sure to have those items available for you. We’ve got plenty of the paddle and Rio jackets and pants in stock. You’ll be able to pick those up when you arrive without a ‘pre-order’.
